The snow is FINALLY starting to melt, the rain has returned, with periods of sunshine and blue skies. I know it’s not quite warm enough yet to call it Spring but as much as I have loved this winter, I have been aching for Spring. So, I ignored the (still) cool temps and pulled out my bright lipstick and floral kimono.
I am not one to wear much colour, my wardrobe mostly consists of black, white and greys but I sure do love a bold lipstick to add a bit of flair to an outfit. The one I am wearing here is one of my favourites, and will probably wear it every day this spring.
I love the change of seasons. I love newness and Spring is such a beautiful season. Watching things that have been dead and lifeless have colour again, it is such a wonderful representation of the life Christ brings in our lives.
Psalm 139 has been bringing much encouragement and conviction. Though it is a commonly referenced Psalm, it has new depths for me lately. He knows my thoughts before I think them, my words before I speak them. He knows my days before I live them. He intricately wove me. He knows me inside and out.
How I should delight in being His creation. How I should be filled with gratitude to be known by such a unfathomable God. How I should trust Him to search my heart, convict me and lead me in the way everlasting!
May you know the one who knit you and may you delight in being known by Him.
May you also enjoy the fact that Spring is on it’s way. So reflect on His goodness (and pull out that bright lipstick)!
