Cruisin’ The Seawall

Location: Stanley Park, Vancouver

Last weekend a friend of mind, Aleah, said she’d be in Vancouver and asked if I was interested in skateboarding in Stanley Park. I laughed to myself because I really would love to pretend that I am good on a board but that is very far from the truth but it sounded like a fun idea so we went for it.

I am sooo in love with Vancouver, it really has it all. City, ocean and mountains. Does it get any better?

I love Stanley park, everything about it! It is a great place to be with friends or family, either chilling by the water with a coffee or walking around taking in the views. I cannot believe I get to call this city my home.  Skateboarding and long boarding around the Seawall was a great way to spend our Saturday afternoon. I think by the end we were getting pretty good 😉 I hope to pull out my board more often and try and get better.

I have a MASSIVE crush on Kippy Skateboards. Check them out here, they are an Australian company that loves Jesus and makes beautiful boards. She does tons of customs with scripture and often posts them on their Instagram ! Maybe one day I’ll be good enough that it’s worth investing in a new board, for now I will just (slowly) cruise on my Penny Board and dream. Regardless, it’s nice to get outside and enjoy creation in new ways.

I hope you are all having a wonderful week and get out there and enjoy the fresh air and enjoy the creation around you!
